We came to Corby Train Station to head towards London for a weekend trip. The Colombia Rose is a coffee shop that is right near the ticket office and has several chairs with tables all inside the station.
One of the things I liked was that you had the option of ordering it through the counter or the machine. Oftentimes the problem I have is I don't know how to order it the specific way so it's nice to be able to have all the options in front of me with a picture so it's good for those with language barriers which is wonderful.
A small critique I have is that on the snacks section, it's very generic "Chocolate bar", or "Chewing Gun" making it difficult to know what was there and we weren't sure if we were meant to take it from the front or if the staff would do that for us. Another critique is that when I added the extra things I wanted and paid for, it did not say sold out or anything of that sort meaning when the lady was making it she informed me that there was no whipped cream and didn't offer an alternative. That could have been due to us arriving a few minutes before it closed.
I ordered an iced latte with whole milk an extra shot of espresso and whipped cream. Despite there not being whipped cream, the latte was very creamy and strong. I liked the flavour and it was lovely. However, for £6.70, it resembled more like a small size from a regular coffee shop but the convenience thing is I can take it with me on the train.
On our way now to London and im glad I came here to get my drink before my journey.
Nice place to drink your coffee when you're waiting for you're train 😁
Very good coffee and the hot flatbreads are amazing……really tasty. Friendly efficient service. Definitely recommend.
